I’m going to eat some holiday treats dammit!

Well it’s been 5 days and I’ve lost 5 pounds already!  Damn I love South Beach!  Yes, I know - it’s too fast.  Yes, I know - it’s mostly waterweigth at this point - but I already feel better.  I have been doing Phase Two which allows fruits and some whole grain carbs and in my opinion is much heathier/easier to stick to than Phase One.  I’ve decided to stay on Phase Two until one month before my wedding and then go into serious boot camp South Beach mode for the last four weeks.  That seems doable.

 That being said, I’m feeling very positive and healthy and I’m going to have a few holiday treats today!  I will eat my (small amounts of ) treats with pride.  So far I think I can handle having just a little without going off the deep end.  I seem to be more in control of my life in general these days, which helps with the self-discipline.  It’s Christmas, after all!  :)

Wedding Countdown!

Hi everyone, I hope this helps me lose some LB’s!!!  I’m getting ready for my wedding on June 7th and don’t want to look like my before picture :)  My goal is 15-20 pounds of fat loss and some added muscle.  I’m planning to use South Beach and weight lifting, light cardio, and yoga to acheive this!  I enjoy exercise but by far my biggest downfall is food and alcohol!  I’ll need lots of support for the next six months and hopefully won’t be too cranky!  :)
